About Blockader

Blockader is a single-player bullet heaven and roguelite shooter released on 23 Sep 2026. The game puts players in control of a cosmic defender fighting waves of alien creatures in a small arena. Attacks fire automatically, while the player focuses on movement, dodging, collecting Alien DNA and stars, and choosing upgrades during each run. A full session takes around 15–20 minutes, with 30 enemy waves to survive and 14 skill types to unlock. Between runs, Nano Components and Alien DNA can be used for permanent upgrades, giving each new attempt a little more room to progress.

Quick Guide to Playing

  • Move around with WASD or the Arrow Keys.
  • Move the mouse to aim your attacks.
  • Your weapon shoots on its own, so you don’t need to keep clicking.
  • Pick up stars, Alien DNA, and other drops when you see them.
  • When you level up, click an upgrade you want.
  • Keep some open space around your character so you have somewhere to dodge.
  • Try to reach all 30 waves without getting surrounded.

Detailed Instructions

  • At the start, just keep moving and let the automatic attacks handle the smaller enemies.
  • Don’t sit in one place for too long. More aliens will keep coming and it gets harder to escape later.
  • Watch where the enemies are coming from. Getting trapped between two groups is usually where a run starts going wrong.
  • Grab dropped resources when you can, but don’t run straight into a crowd just to collect one item.
  • When you get an upgrade, look for skills that work well together instead of picking something random every time.
  • The arena gets much busier in the later waves, so leave yourself enough room to move.
  • After the run ends, spend your Alien DNA and Nano Components on permanent upgrades. Even a failed run can help make the next one better.

Tips to Master This Game

  • Keep moving. It sounds simple, but standing still makes the alien waves catch up quickly.
  • Don’t get boxed in. If one side of the arena is getting crowded, move before there is no way out.
  • Pick upgrades that fit together. A few useful skills working together are better than grabbing everything.
  • Collect drops when it’s safe. Missing one resource is better than losing the whole run.
  • Use your permanent upgrades. They give you a little more help each time you come back.
  • Try different builds. There are 14 skill types, so different combinations can change how a run feels.
  • Take the later waves seriously. Once the screen fills up, movement becomes just as important as your damage.
